Thanks Andy - I checked their website and it didn't mention any closures. Guess I'd better plan something else - Hexham looking likely.

I've posted the rides calendar up until end of March on the website calendar. The planned destinations are optimistic for good weather!

This Sunday is a 56 mile route with lunch in Rothbury, fairly flat in the morning and hilly on the return.

This Sunday's C5 destination is Chollerford. I won't be out so someone will need to find their way there and back. Looks like it could be frosty to start with so be careful on the way there!

This week's ride is to Warkworth. Round trip of 60 miles from Ponteland, taking in Shilbottle on the way there but coming generally straight back. Weather looks ok but expect a headwind back to Pont.

Forecast for a welcome respite in the wind tomorrow but distinct chance of being wet instead!

An interesting route to Bellingham planned, 34 miles to lunch and then 26 miles back (over the Ryals) or 30 miles back to avoid them! All weather permitting... if it is wet there will be a group decision on a straight round ride; if it is really wet I won't be out!!

In light of the weather forecast for this Sunday I'm cancelling the C5 ride

Currently looking like there is a window of opportunity for a Sunday club ride this weekend without getting blown away!

Original plan for Allendale scaled back to Chollerford, which we didn't get to as planned a few weeks back. Route is 57 miles but can be reduced a bit if it proves to be too windy.
