Club 10 - 19th May 2016

Another club time trial, another club record as Miriam Jessett took a further 44 seconds off the club junior girl's 10 mile time trial record that she set two weeks ago, recording a time of 27:04.

On a cold, and for some damp, breezy evening, many riders were slower than two weeks before.  Mark Reed managed to set exactly the same time as in the last event, this time fastest of 32 riders.  Not far behind him was visitor Terry Wilkinson, whilst David Robinson was third and fastest veteran.  Another notable improver was Daniel Holmes who clipped a few seconds off his personal best.

Results and short distance BAR tables below.

Club 10 - 5th May 2016

The first club time trial of the year is not known for good conditions, so 14C and a light westerly wind is not a bad start to the club time trial season at all.  Danny Grieves was a clear winner with a fast 21:59, with Mark Reed second and Dave Robinson in third.

However, it was the club's young riders who stole the show.  Miriam Jessett was fastest lady in her first time trial, with a time of 27:48.  Henry Knight was fastest of the youth riders just one second ahead of Joe Tubby, and Daniel Holmes in his first ever time trial set of a time of 27:47 at the age of just 12.  Well done to all of them!
