Temporary traffic lights on the planned course (5 laps round Blagdon / Tranwell / Ponteland) meant the 100 was transferred back to the Cramlington / Ellington course.  The weather was largely kind, with cool (but not cold) conditions and little wind for the first stages of the race, though a westerly breeze did pick up towards the end.  Fortunately the traffic was not too bad on the spine road either.
