It was warm and windy for the club 25 championship, with 30 riders taking the start. Although blustery, the southerly wind direction gave a crosswind for most parts of the course.

The Club 10 Mile Championship, following on immediately after the North East GHS Championship, benefitted from warm conditions and a gentle south easterly wind, suggesting a fast night. Indeed it was very fast to the turn, though many riders suffered with a deceptively tough headwind finish.
