Internally within the Vagabonds the mountain time trial is the race for the Pelforth cup. The trophy is awarded to the fastest member in the open 47 mile mountain time trial.

Sunday 5th April saw Mark Pardoe and Roger Clarke head out of the area to ride the Nelson Wheelers' Circuit of the Dales classic time trial based in Ingleton in Yorkshire. At 50 miles long it's a serious undertaking so early in the year.
