Perhaps it was the wet and windy weather that seemed to last all day Saturday, perhaps it was the thought of riding through the night or perhaps some people had actually worked out the distance involved and thought better of it (because I have to admit I hadn't!). Whatever the reason only five hardy souls (or should that be five mad fools) turned out for the inaugural TVCC Midsummer's Night Ride.
