The Vagabonds Club Time Trials start on Thursday 6th May. Everyone is welcome to ride, whether new to cycling or a member of another club, though please read on for details of the signing-on arrangements.
Signing on will be in the car park behind the shopping centre in Ponteland from 6:15pm. Numbers will be restricted to 50 riders at each event this year, and so signing on will be on two separate lists - one for Vagabonds (whether 1st or 2nd claim) and potential new members, and the other for members of other clubs. Vags will receive their numbers straight away (provided they sign on by 6:45pm), whilst the remaining numbers will be given out after 6:45 to non-members in the order that they signed on.
Any non-members who have previously taken part in the series are welcome to join the Vags 2nd claim at a cost of £8 if they wish to secure their ride each week, though they will need to be members of either CTC or British Cycling as applies to all our club members.
Cost of entry is £2 for all riders. |

For a week in mid-March 10 Vagabonds headed for Majorca in the hope of warm weather and sunshine, and the prospect of some serious training miles, and were not disappointed.

The cold weather and snow this winter hasn't stopped the Vags club rides. The snow got too deep for road bikes on 10th January, so 7 intrepid club members got their mountain bikes out for an epic ride to Elsdon.
